In the diversion, players accept the part of an Underlord entrusted with building cells that contain lethal traps and foes to slaughter meandering saints. The amusement begins with a clear slate and gives players a chance to pick where to "burrow, brace, and work" to make their cell. The diversion is played progressively, with the player effectively settling on choices while battling happens. Multitudes of cronies can be prepared and charged to vanquish adversaries, and spells are accessible which can harm foes or help flunkies amid fight. The amusement obliges micromanagement to keep cronies working, providing them with sustenance and gold.
